It is hard to imagine what the condition of mankind must have been like when God made the choice to flood the earth to destroy mankind except eight people. The LORD Was Grieved. Back in Genesis, we see God provided for a way for mankind to be Saved Through Water.
I can't imagine the LORD always being happy with my behavior. I am thankful for His mercy and grace in which He provided a way for me to be saved through faith in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
In this season of remembering Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection, it is good to examine ourselves to make sure we Do Not Grieve the Holy Spirit.
