God's Wisdom for Navigating Life

The writing team of Timothy and Kathy Keller has produced a yearlong devotional based on the Book of Proverbs which includes teachings of Christ who is Wisdom. This is my second year to use this book as part of my daily communication with God. This year words and principles popped out at me which I missed the first time around.

In the Introduction the Keller's give a description: “Proverbs is not a set of 'simple steps to a happy life' for quick consumption. A proverb is a poetic art form that instills wisdom in you as you wrestle with it.”

Wrestling with the whole of the Bible is a lifelong effort; this book will help by the insights of a gifted teacher. True wisdom comes from above and is ours for the asking (James 1:5). Jesus told us those who seek will find (Matthew 7:7-12).
