Many people are hurting. They are looking to be saved from their circumstances, whether that is physical, emotional, and/or spiritual. There is a void in their lives which is not answered by the philosophical, worldviews or religions they know about. They want to be saved. “Save Me, O God”, as Scarlett points out, “is a refrain heard throughout the Scriptures.”
“Christ, the Savior of the World” is the only one who can save us. Each of us has been “Condemned Already” by the choice Adam and Eve made long ago. “Who Then Can Be Saved?”
