God shows his love to us in many ways. Sometimes he shows his love in seemingly small ways. We are enjoying a "January thaw" this weekend which feels like early spring. In comparison to more important gifts from God, steeping out into the warm morning sun, hearing the happy singing of birds, and feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin may seem a small thing.

We must remember that Love Is not just the big things, but the small things.

Jesus pointed out following his ways in small things is just as important as bigger things.

"Well done, my good servant!" his master replied, "Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities."
Luke 19:17

When we demonstrate our love in small things, we demonstrate we will follow the right path in greater matters, whether in this life or our life to come.

So remember to Follow the Way of Love the next time you are frustrated by a fussy child, a slow person in the checkout line, or dealing with a family member who is having a rough day.
