Don't Back Down

Don't ever back down from protecting what's sacred or standing up for what's right, from admitting you're wrong or saying you're sorry. No matter how hopeless it seems, don't dread the challenge of changing your flaws or accepting chastisement, listening to wise counsel or waiting when you just don't understand.

God has not given us a spirit of fear for all things work to the good of those that love Him. One of the hardest things in life is facing our past, our mistakes, our loss and our own lack but God is bigger than all of that.

Stand in His grace, for you were bought at a price and you are a slave no longer. You are free. Face this world with a humble heart and steady eyes.

You are God's own. If you fall, you will be caught. If you crumble, you will be held. Even though your knees are weak and your legs tremble, if you take even one step you have overcome.

Don't fear being wrong, fear not admitting you're wrong. Don't fear failing, fear never picking yourself up. And never fear to ask for grace because the more you ask, the more you receive.

Don't back down from the precious gift of life that has been given to you.
