Response from Readers

I was browsing the internet and came across your website I would like some information on what you are about and how much it cost to join.

... I look forward to corresponding with you and others on the Word of God. I
look forward to knowing more about what others may say in their own opinion
concerning the Word.

Thank you for your e-mail requesting information on membership. I am happy to say if you are a Christian woman, you are already a member. Since this is a personal ministry I do not solicit  funds.

I appreciate your desire to correspond with others on the Word of God. Because of my time constraints, I do not plan to put a forum on the web site.

I did create this category in order for our readers to be able to submit their comments and questions to share with others. I will sometimes, for time and space, edit the e-mails, as I did with yours.

If anyone would like to write to any of the authors, just put their name in the subject line and send it to comments and I will forward it on.

Your e-mail address will not be published. I will only list your first name and/or city, if you list it in the body of your email.

We will still correspond individually to those who request privacy.

I read your web-site on women in ministries and did not find a real answer to my question about women preaching and teaching in the worship service, while men are in the service.  Can you please explain this text 1 Timothy 2:9-15?

The topic about women preaching and teaching in worship service is one of the "hot" topics that tend to divide many Christians.

In the About Us section we state:
We believe that each believer in Christ is responsible to grow in the knowledge and grace of the Lord Jesus and to be convinced in his or her own mind about what to believe and practice.

We do not want to tell you what to believe, but want to encourage, exhort and hopefully inspire you to learn from God's word with the Holy Spirit guiding you into truth.

That being said, we know it is helpful to read more detailed scholarly studies on women's role. We have included a short list of suggested readings in Book Reviews this month.
