Notes from Nancy

Some Christians, maybe without realizing it, do not think we should help “sinners.” They expect them to stop sinning before we reach out a hand to help. But is that really Christianity? How many of us were without sin before we were called? For that matter, how many of us are without sin even now?

Randi Shanta expresses her frustration with the proud boasting of her fellow employees, in “That They Were Proud Of.” It is a frustration that many of us deal with. Yet someone has to reach out and show them a better way.

In “Someday”, Kristine Lowder questions how we express our love.

Thankfully, Jesus did not come to the sinless. We need to examine ourselves in the light of the example of “A Woman Who Had Lived a Sinful Life.” Who do you most identify with in this story?

Who Is This Who Even Forgives Sins?” examines who Jesus spent his time with and why.
