Are you a willing bride? Rebekah was humble and giving. When given the opportunity to become a bride, she went willingly.

When Abraham’s servant presented costly gifts to her and her family, she would have seen the possibility of being married to a wealthy man. Still, there had to be faith on her part that this was the truth and not a front put on by the servant. 

Rebekah was only given a token of what was to come. Before the marriage she would have to leave her past, her family, her familiar way of life. Rebekah would have a long and arduous journey before she would marry her husband.

So it is with us as spiritual brides. We must be humble and willing to serve. God has given us a token of what is to come. We must take a journey into a new way and leave the familiarity of our past way of life. 

So, again I ask, are you a willing bride?
