Stress, that's the word
of the month for me. I have been working a minimum 50 hour work week for
over a month now.
How blessed I feel that "the Sabbath was
made for man." It gives me one day in the week to set aside all the busy
activities of earning a living and keeping a household to sit at the feet
of Jesus.
This month we take a peek into the life
of the Sisters of Bethany. Martha
was certainly stressed!
Learning from their example, this month's
Bible
Study Guide helps us learn what Jesus meant when he said, "I will give
you rest."
In Joan Osborn's A
Tale of Two Sisters, we are reminded of how we need to "stop and smell
the roses."
Cynthia Saladin reminds us The
Best Thing to Spend on Your Children is Your Time.
Rounding out the issue in the Youth section
is Elizabeth Puckett's Stress=Bad,
to which is something, no matter what our age, we can relate.
I hope you find this month's issue helpful.
