Women in Christ (logo) Notes from Nancy

When we think of God, we tend to remember his mercy and grace and ignore the part where he states he will “not leave the guilty unpunished (Exodus 34:7.)” Even so, hopefully, the light we shine as Christians shines on the darkness of the sin of this world.

But is punishment coming only to those who do not claim to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior? We must also look among ourselves. We may claim Jesus is our Lord and Savior, but as Scarlett reminds us in Proof of the Pudding, things are not always what they seem on the surface.

There is a Judgment to Come and we further study God’s judgment in He Does Not Leave the Guilty Unpunished in our final study of the name of God series.

We know that we have sinned and deserve the penalty of death, “ for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:23.)” But there is a way out. After all, “It’s Not What You Know, But Who You Know,” that counts.
