Notes from Nancy |
| I apologize for the delay. I just returned
from my yearly trip to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. It was a delectable
spiritual feast.
One of the messages I received goes well with this month's issue on being a living sacrifice. I feel one particular passage reminded me of how we are able to be that living sacrifice. "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. Each and every day we should build on these qualities. Through the years they will grow in quantity and quality. They will enable us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, our spiritual worship. |
