The Dream Giver

by
Bruce Wilkinson
with David and Heather Kopp

The first half of The Dream Giver, co-authored by Bruce Wilkinson, Heather and David Kopp, is an allegory or parable that illustrates the process of pursuing a dream. The second half of the book explains the stages that most people will face as they seek to fulfill their dream or reach their goal.

The authors wrote, “The good news for every Dreamer is that each stage or obstacle along our journey is intended not to block our dream but to help us break through to the fulfillment God promises.”

The principle that spoke the loudest to me was: “To take courage, you have to decide to go forward anyway.” “…Courage is not the absence of fear; rather, it’s choosing to act in spite of the fear.”

This book is for anyone who has a big dream, but who is allowing obstacles to prevent attainment. The Dream Giver is more than a pep talk; the authors give practical wisdom for attaining that big goal.
