I am grateful that
God perseveres. If he didn’t, earth would be as barren as the moon or the
planet Mars. Perseverance is a major component of God’s grace. |
| God has placed no limit on the number of times
he forgives those who confess their wrong doings and genuinely turn back
to him. (I John 1:9) His mercy is renewed every morning. How often
have you longed for a fresh start? God is willing to give it to you. (Lamentations
3:21-33) |

Those who choose to become his children through
the new birth (John 3:3) will never be left to fend for themselves as orphans
who are struggling to survive in a hostile world. (John 14:16-18) He will
always be with you to love, to provide, to protect, and to discipline and
guide you. Not even death can separate us from him. (Romans 8:35-39) |
When God makes a promise, he keeps it no matter
how long it takes. Because he is faithful, he perseveres until he gets
the job done. (Philippians 1:6)
Every child of God who has persevered through
faith and doubt, difficulties and rescues, successes and failures, or feast
and famine is a witness to the faithfulness of God who never gives up.
The Bible from the first verse of Genesis to
the last verse of Revelation is a record of God’s faithful grace toward
humanity.
| The fact that life still exists is evidence
of God’s faithfulness. Praise God who perseveres. “Because of the Lord’s
great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are
new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, ‘The Lord
is my portion; therefore I will wait for him’” |
